Opposite to them, on the other side of the moon, the happiness-bringing sun-alfs are working. They collect the rays of the sun which are being cooled at the impenetrable, brightly flashing spots of the moon-shield and then sent back to the sun; and with the delicate pictures that the moon-shield impresses on them they build the inner world of the sun, the world of Asgard: the realm of the gods.
Yet their own residence is separate from the home of the gods.
